How to Recharge FasTag from Phone Pay?
Step-1 Open the Phonpe app
To recharge FasTag, first download the PhonePe app from Google Play Store or from the link given here. Then login by registering with your mobile number. When the home page of the PhonePe app opens, go to the Recharge & Pay Bills section and select the See All button.
Step-2 Select Fastag Recharge
Now in the recharge section you will see different recharge options. We have to recharge the Fastag of our vehicle, so here select the Fastag Recharge option.
Step-3 Choose Add New Vehicle
Now on the screen you will see the option to add your vehicle. To add your vehicle, select the Add New Vehicle option at the bottom. Like we have told in the screenshot.
Step-4 Choose the name of Fastag Bank
The option of different bank will appear for adding the vehicle. Here we have to find the name of the bank whose FasTag is installed in our vehicle. Like Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC Bank etc. After getting the name of your FasTag bank, select it.
Step-5 Enter vehicle number
Now you have to enter the registration number of your vehicle. For example – DL 01KI1234, enter whatever number is there in the number plate of your vehicle in the box here and select the confirm button.
Step-6 Enter the FASTag recharge amount
As soon as your vehicle number is verified, the vehicle and bill details will appear on the screen. Here the name of the customer i.e. the one in whose name the vehicle is registered and the FASTag balance will appear. Now enter the amount you want to recharge in your Fastag. Then select the Proceed to Pay button.
Step-7 Recharge Fastag
Now in the next step you will be asked to enter your UPI PIN. Enter your UPI PIN here. Then after verification, the FASTag of your vehicle will be recharged.
